Soil Uricase Activity Assay kit
Soil uricase is an oxidoreductase related to nucleic acid metabolism, which mainly converts the nucleic acid adenine and uric acid in the soil into allantoin and allantoic acid to produce urea for plant use.
Soil uricase can catalyze uric acid to produce allantoin, CO2 and H2O2. Uric acid has a characteristic absorption peak at 284 nm. Uric acid is measured before and after the reaction. The amount of reduction represents soil uric acid enzyme activity.
