pUC18 plasmid
pUC18 is a commonly used cloning vector, which was modified from pBR322, and contains ampicillin-resistant gene, LacZ gene and the same multiple cloning site as M13mp18. The structures of these two plasmids are almost the same, except that the multiple cloning sites are arranged in opposite directions. The cloned transformed cells of recombinant pUC18 can be screened by the blue / white spot method.
Host bacteria: E.coli DH5a, JM109 and XL1-Blue are recommended as recipient bacteria.
This product is a high-purity plasmid, dissolved in TE buffer, and can be directly used for molecular cloning operations such as PCR and digestion.
