MEM (with L-glutamine, Phenol red, HEPES; w/o NEAA)

Minimum essential medium (MEM) is a synthetic culture medium, contains only essential amino acids, vitamins and basic inorganic salts for the growth of cultured cells. Adding NEAA with MEM can reduce the side effects of the cell's own synthesis of non-essential amino acids during cell culture, and effectively promote cell proliferation and metabolism.
