Flagella stain solution (carbol fuchsin method)

Bacterial flagella are the locomotion organs of bacteria, and their main component is protein. They are slender in shape, with a diameter of about 10-20nm. Without treatment, they can only be observed under an electron microscope. Therefore, when staining flagella, they are first treated with a mordant to make the flagella thicker, and then stained. Then, they can be observed under an ordinary optical microscope, which simplifies the observation difficulty.

This product uses carbolic acid fuchsin to dye the bacteria. The dyeing solution itself has a certain fixing effect, and at the same time makes the bacteria red. The dyeing is clear and long-lasting.
