Eosinophil stain kit (congo red method)
Eosinophils are one of the components of inflammatory cells and play a role in allergic diseases. The eosinophil cytoplasm contains secondary granules, which mainly contain basic proteins such as eosinophil cations, eosinophil-derived neurotoxins, eosinophil peroxidase, etc., which can be stained with acid dyes.
Eosinophil stain (congo red method) consists of hematoxylin stain, rinse solution and congo red stain. After staining, the cytoplasm of eosinophils appears orange-red and the nucleus appears blue.
