Eosinophil stain kit (chromotropic acid 2R method)

Eosinophils are one of the components of inflammatory cells and play a role in allergic diseases. The eosinophil cytoplasm contains secondary granules, which mainly contain basic proteins such as eosinophil cations, eosinophil-derived neurotoxins, eosinophil peroxidase, etc., which can be stained with acid dyes.

Eosinophil stain (chromotropic acid 2R method) is composed of hematoxylin stain and chromotropic acid 2R stain. After staining, the cytoplasm of eosinophils is magenta and the nucleus is blue. Compared with other eosinophil stain solutions, it has moderate coloring, simple operation, and fast staining. The disadvantage is that if the tissue patch is not firm, the dry slide staining may fall off.
