EBSS with Calcium, Magnesium, Phenol Red

Earle’s Balanced Salt Solution (EBSS) is the most commonly used salt solution for rinsing of cells, and preparation of other reagents in cell culture. EBSS also maintain the cells in a CO2 environment for the short-term.

The EBSS buffer is a ready-to-use and can be directly used for routine washing of cells during cell culture, and can be used for any treatment such as dilution or filtration sterilization before use.

This product is sterilized by 0.1um filter, pH7.0-8.1@25°C, osmotic pressure 270-310 mOsm/kg; and it contains:
D-glucose (1000mg/mL; 5.55mM)
KCl (400mg/mL; 5.36mM)
NaCl (6800mg/mL; 117mM)
NaHCO3 (2200mg/mL; 126.2mM)
Na2HPO4•12H2O (121mg/mL; 1.01mM)
Phenol Red (10mg/mL; 0.025mM)
CaCl2 (200mg/mL; 1.8mM)
MgSO4•7H2O (200mg/mL; 0.81mM)
