DMEM/F-12 (with Phenol red, Sodium Pyruvate, HEPES; w/o L-glutamine)

DMEM/F-12 is an improved DMEM medium containg Ham's F-12 nutrient in 1:1. Ham's F-12 is abundant in nutrients and contains more trace elements.

DMEM/F-12 is suitable for the culture of mammalian cells and the culture of clonal density under low serum content. DMEM/F-12 is also used as a base medium for the development of serum-free media.
