Diff-Quik stain kit
Diff-Quik staining is a rapid staining method used in cytology. The stain kit consists of a Fixative Agent (methanol, blue), Reagent-I (eosinophilic, orange) and Reagent-II (basophilic, blue). Generally, slides are dipped sequentially into each solution for 6 times (or left for 10-15 seconds in each solution), followed by a water rinse and drying. The required time is extremely short, and the dyeing can be completed within 90s.
Diff-Quick staining is mainly used for blood cell smear, bone marrow smear, vaginal secretion smear, exfoliated cell smear. Diff-Quick staining is ideal for batch dip dyeing with clear background and no sediment.
