D-PBS w/o Calcium, Magnesium & Phenol Red

DuLbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) is intended to provide a buffer system for maintaining cell culture media in the physiological range of 7.2-7.6. It provide appropriate environment to sustain the physiological and structural integrity (i.e. tonicity/viability) of cells in vitro for a limited period of time. DPBS is mainly used for embryology research and can be used as a rinse, cryopreservation and culture medium for embryos and tissues. Glucose, sodium pyruvate, etc. can be added to DPBS as needed to maintain the basic nutrients of the culture.
This 1x concentrate PBS sterilized by 0.1um filter; pH7.2-7.8 and it contains:
KCl (200mg/mL; 2.68mM)
KH2PO4 (200mg/mL; 1.47.0mM)
NaCl (8000mg/mL; 137mM)
Na2HPO4•12H2O (2886mg/mL; 8.0mM)
