Basic Fast Green stain kit
Different amino acids carry side chain groups with different chemical properties, some have basic side chains, and some have acidic side chains. The proteins composed of these have different numbers of basic groups and acidic groups. These groups will cause the protein to have different net charges in different pH solutions. If the entire protein molecule carries more positive charge, it is an alkaline protein (the isoelectric point tends to be acidic); if the entire protein carries more negative charge, it is an acidic protein (the isoelectric point tends to be acidic).
Basic Fast Green stain kit uses alkaline proteins combined with the negatively charged alkaline dye fast green for staining. The most abundant alkaline protein in cells is histone, which is mainly present in the cell nucleus. Therefore, most of the cell nucleus is stained green after staining. This stain solution is only used in the field of scientific research and is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or other purposes
