AR Protein A Beads 4FF
AR Protein A Beads 4FF is an alkali-resistant affinity chromatography medium for the separation and purification of monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies or Fc-fusion proteins.
Protein A is a cell wall protein isolated from Staphylococcus aureus that binds mammalian IgG mainly through an Fc fragment. The ligand protein for AR Protein A 4FF is an alkali-resistant protein A (so abbreviated as AR) obtained by bioengineering mutation of recombinant protein A, expressed in E.coli. There are no animal-derived components are used in the ligand purification process. The ligands are specially designed for enhanced stability to alkalis and proteases.
AR Protein A is based on a highly cross-linked 4% agarose gel, which can purify monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies at relatively high flow rates. Its pressure resistance makes it suitable for use in Large-scale production of industrialized antibodies.
While it is cleaned with 0.1M NaOH for 200 times; the medium load remain almost unchanged. After cleaning with 0.5M NaOH for 100 times, the load can still reach 80% of the initial load. This product uses a more stable directional coupling with low shedding (less than 10ng/mg IgG).
