Acetyl Coenzyme A Carboxylase Activity Assay kit
ACC catalyzes the carboxylation of acetyl-CoA in organisms to produce malonyl-CoA, which is a key enzyme for the synthesis of fatty acids and many secondary metabolites. To a certain extent, the activity of ACC determines the synthesis speed of fatty acids and the level of oil content.
ACC can catalyze acetyl-CoA, NaHCO3 and ATP to generate malonyl-CoA, ATP and inorganic phosphorus. ACC activity can be determined by determining the increase in inorganic phosphorus by the ammonium molybdate phosphorus determination method.
