4x Protein Loading Buffer (Native)
Native Protein Loading Buffer is used for the preparation of protein samples for non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) with TG running buffer. The sample sample is used to solubilize native protein samples prior to use with the Native-PAGE-Gel System. It is used along with 10% DDM or 5% Digitonin detergents to solubilize hydrophobic or membrane proteins.
It does not contain SDS, DTT or beta-mercaptoethanol. Therefore, proteins remain in their native higher order structures (e.g. folded, joined subunits) during electrophoresis.
IFU:
1. Use it by adding 10ul of protein loading buffer per 30ul of protein sample (4 -fold dilution). If the protein concentration is too high, it can be diluted with double distilled water. After mixing, load the sample directly into the PAGE gel loading hole.
2. Usually during electrophoresis, the electrophoresis will stop when the blue dye reaches near the bottom of the gel.
